APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE SEPTEMBER 20, 2023 MEETING Motion made to approve minutes by Board member Smith, Seconded by Board member Phillips. Voting Yea: Board member Cretsinger, Board member Rocher, Board member Bondy DISCUSSION ITEMS 3. DISCUSSION OF THE MAYORS CLIMATE PROTECTION AGREEMENT Made a few more adjustments to the document. Will revisit in the next meeting. 4. DISCUSSION AND/OR APPROVAL OF UPDATED JAMES O'HARP ENVIRONMENTAL RECOGNITION AWARD APPLICATION Item will be tabled for the next meeting. - Requested an updated version be sent out for review if available 5. DISCUSSION AND/OR APPROVAL FOR WHICH DAY TO VISIT THE REPUBLIC LANDFILL Motion made to attend the tour on November 2nd by Board member Phillips, Seconded by Board member Cretsinger. Voting Yea: Board member Rocher, Board member Bondy, Board member Smith MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS None QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC Guest stated that her group is interested in trying to encourage the complication of the recommendations and turn them into ordinances regarding the Mayors Climate Protection Agreement. She asked which one would be the highest priority to the group. The group asked her if she had one that she would like prioritized. She stated that she reviewed the 2018 version so she would have to look over the new one. The group explained that they are hoping that by the end of it, they will be prioritized meaning that the first 3 recommendations are the ones that the group feels are most important.
