DISCUSSION ITEMS
If ECAB would like to host a table they can partner with LTWA. It would also be a good idea for
ECAB to hand out the students awards.
As far as new swag, the budget will have to be revisited in the new fiscal year.
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS
Wildcare Babyshower - April 26th - noon-5pm
All the animal welfare organizations in the state came together to form the Oklahoma Animal
Coalition where they ranked all the problems within the state and voted on the top issues. One
of the top issues voted on will be a resolution read in both the senate and the house declaring
April 15th thru the end of May as Lights Out for Migratory Birds.
EarthDay will be promoted on Living Oklahoma, channel 25, this year.
One of the hurdles they run into in regards to the Mayors Climate Protection Agreement is
funding for some of the projects they were wanting to implement. All four Rotary Clubs of
Norman got together and applied for a district grant to put some recycle bins in each park.
After further discussion, there will be more hurdles to jump through to get this fully
implemented but is very hopeful.
OU Waterday, can be viewed on YouTube.
Water on Tap event at the Standard, this is where they go to the local Brewery's to discuss
water.
