MINUTES OF
July 20, 2020
The Greenbelt Commission of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met
for the Regular Meeting on July 20, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. Notice and Agenda of the meeting were
posted at 201 W Gray Building A, the Norman Municipal Complex and at www.normanok.gov
twenty-four hours prior to the beginning of the meeting.
The meeting was held by Zoom virtual meeting.
ITEM NO. 1 BEING: CALL TO ORDER.
Chair George Dotson called the meeting to order.

Motion by Robert Huskey to approve Items 20-11 and 20-12; Second by Samantha Luttrell. All
approve.
ITEM NO. 5 BEING: Discussion regarding the Greenbelt Commission’s proposed
revisions to Article XXI , The Greenbelt Commission:
Mark Nanny and the commissioners agreed with proposed revisions to Article XXI and would
like to move forward to Council for adoption. Robert Huskey requested that the wording
regarding amendments to signage be changed to ‘potential signage or landmark’ and the
commissioners agreed. Staff agreed to move this request to the Planning Director.
ITEM NO. 6 BEING: Miscellaneous. None
ITEM NO. 7 BEING: Adjournment.

INFORMATION: This item is placed on the agenda so that the Greenbelt Commission,
by unanimous consent, may designate those items that they wish to approve by one
motion. Any of these items may be removed from the Consent Docket and be heard in
its regular order. Staff recommends that Items GBC 20-11 and GBC 20-12 be placed on
the consent docket for a Finding of No Greenbelt Opportunity.
