GREENBELT COMMISSION
MINUTES OF
April 19th, 2022
The Greenbelt Commission of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met for
the Regular Meeting on April 19, 2022 at 5 :30 p.m. Notice and Agenda of the meeting were posted
at 201 W Gray, Building A, the Norman Municipal Complex and at \v,vv,·.nonnanok.rrov twenty
four hours prior to the beginning of the meeting.
ITEM NO. 1 BEING: CALL TO ORDER.
Chair GeorgeDotson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

ITEM NO. 3 BEING: Approval of the Minutes from March 15, 2022 Greenbelt Regular
Meeting.
Motion by Marguerite Larson for approval; Second by Mark Nanny.
The motion was passed unanimously, with no objections.

Meeting with Greenbelt Commissioners: George Dotson, Robert Huskey, Andrew Hewlett,
Marguerite Larson, Maureen Chittenden, Rachel Wyatt-Swanson, Kristina Wyckoff, Mark Nanny
and Zach DuFran.

CONSENT DOCKET
INFORMATION: These items are placed on the agenda so that the Greenbelt Commission, by
unanimous consent, may designate those items that they wish to approve by one motion. Any
of these items may be removed from the Consent Docket and be heard in its regular order. Staff
recommends that items GBC 22-08 and GBC 22-09 be placed on the consent docket for a Finding
of No Greenbelt Opportunity.

Request: Certificate of Survey; Divide approximately 20 acres into 2 tracts of 10.01 acres each

Project: The Villages
Location: 16.32 acres of property generally located north of E. Imhoff Road and west of
Oakhurst Avenue (NW corner of E. Imhoff Road and Oakhurst Avenue)
Request: The Villages Preliminary Plat & NORMAN 2025 Land Use Plan Amendment; Plat and
rezone approximately 16.32 acres from PUD, Planned Unit Development to a new PUD, Planned
Unit Development to allow for a single-family subdivision with smaller lots and setbacks than
otherwise allowed by code.
