NORMAN ELECTION COMMISSION MINUTES VIRTUAL MEETING HOSTED IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING COUNCIL CHAMBERS 201 WEST GRAY March 30, 2021 The Norman Election Commission of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, met in a virtual meeting hosted at the Municipal Building Council Chambers located at 201 West Gray on the 30th day of March, 2021, at 3:05 p.m. Notice and agenda of the meeting were posted at the Municipal Building 24 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Michael Morehead Elizabeth Pierce Jane Purcell Amelia Torres Chairman Ty Hardiman COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None OTHERS PRESENT: Brenda Hall, City Clerk Item 2. Review of Statement of Campaign Contribution and Expenditure Reports from the following candidates and elected officials. Municipal Candidate Committee Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021, filed February 4, 2021 and the question being upon accepting the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021, a vote was taken with the following result: NAYES: Commissioners Morehead, Pierce, Purcell, Torres, and Chairman Hardiman YEAS: None The Chairman declared the motion carried and the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021 was accepted. Norman Election Commission March 30, 2021 Page 2 Item 2, continued: Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021, continued Commissioner Moorhead moved that the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre-Election Run- off Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021 be accepted, which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Purcell; Items submitted for the record 1. Municipal Candidate Committee Contributions and Expenditures Pre-Election Run-off Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021, filed March 30, 2021 and the question being upon accepting the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre-Election Run-off Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021, a vote was taken with the following result: YEAS: None NAYES: Commissioners Morehead, Pierce, Purcell, Torres, and Chairman Hardiman The Chairman declared the motion failed and the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre- Election Run-off Report for Kelly Lynn for Norman 2021 was returned to the candidate for corrections. Contributions need to show occupation and employer. * Alison Petrone for Ward 3 2021 Commissioner Moorehead moved that the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre-Election Run-off Report for Alison Petrone for Ward 3 2021 be accepted, which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Torres; Items submitted for the record 1. Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre-Election Run-off Report for Alison Petrone for Ward 3 2021, filed March 29, 2021 and the question being upon accepting the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre-Election Run-off Report for Alison Petrone for Ward 3 2021, a vote was taken with the following result: YEAS: Commissioners Morehead, Pierce, Purcell, Torres, and Chairman Hardiman NAYES: None The Chairman declared the motion carried and the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Pre- Election Run-off Report for Alison Petrone for Ward 3 2021 was accepted. * Norman Election Commission March 30, 2021 Page 3 Item 2, continued: Monica Marsh Ward 7 2021 Commissioner Purcell moved that the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Monica March Ward 7 2021 be accepted, which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Torres; Items submitted for the record 1. Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Monica March Ward 7 2021, filed February 4, 2021 and the question being upon accepting the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Monica March Ward 7, a vote was taken with the following result: YEAS: Commissioners Morehead, Pierce, Purcell, Torres, and Chairman Hardiman NAYES: None The Chairman declared the motion carried and the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Continuing Report for Monica March Ward 7 2021 was accepted. * Committee to Elect C.L. 4 Norman 7 2021 Commissioner Purcell moved that the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Partial Fourth Quarter Report for Committee to Elect C.L. 4 Norman 7 2021 be accepted, which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Pierce; Items submitted for the record 1.
