Gray, Study Session Room Mission: To enhance Norman’s image locally, regionally, and nationally by insuring the creation of the highest quality art for display in public places. 1. Call to order 2. Welcome to guests 3. Approval of minutes for September 2016 4. Update of finances – as of 10 – 6 – 2016 , Current balance (NAC account) 29,896.21 Current balance in the utility donations, 1,785.56 Pledged Fowler Toyota grant match 10,000.00 Pledged NAC budgeted amount 5,000.00 Available funds 46,181.77* * Committed funds Duck project 5,000.00 Mosaic Project* 2,000.00 Fire hydrant sculpture 3,000.00 Phase 4 bicycle racks 20,000.00 Phase 3 Bicycle racks (13 racks @ 1,900.00) 6,295.79 36,295.79 Available funds - $9,915.98 Notes: * - NEW – Toyota USA has granted us another $10,000 to be matched by Fowler Toyota. The grant money has been received and deposited. - NO Expenses since last report 5. Terms of Appointment • Jonathan Fowler, Douglas Shaw Elder, Taylor Mauldin – terms expire October 2016. Willing to serve another 1 year term? • Interim Chair (also become Interim NAC Board Member) 6. Norman Forward –. The Project Committees for the eastside library and Westwood Park project have met on September 19th. We need a PAB representative for the East Library Selection panel. That panel will be approved at the October NAC Board meeting and then the RFQ will be issued. East Library Selection Panel: • PAB Rep:__________________ • Arts Professional: Robbie Keinzle • Stakeholder: PLS rep • Design professional: Matt from MSR • City Manager Designee: Terry Floyd • Project Ad Hoc: Chuck Thompson • Project Ad Hoc: Carla Kimberling 7. Bicycle rack project – Update – Fowler 8. Ducks sculpture project –Elder – We need to set the date for the next round. . 9. Committee reports: Social Media – Mauldin, Richardson, Elder – result of the on-line contest  Community project –Lockstone - Update of the installation of the donor plaques and end of project finances Community Awareness – 10. Fire hydrants sculptures – This project is not making much progress at this time. More info will be provided during the meeting. 11. We ART Lindsey Street Project - Erinn 12. Set future meetings – Strategic Planning Committee – date/time/location - Next regular meeting November 14, 4:00 p.m., City Hall 13.
