Approval of the minutes from the January 9, 2023 meeting Motion to approve the minutes by Sandy Duncan; Second by Christy Shepherd. All approve with Ann Way abstaining. REPORTS 2. Update of Expenditures SOCIAL & VOLUNTARY SERVICES COMMITTEE - Monday, April 10, 2023 Page |1 DISCUSSION ITEMS 3. Discussion of SVSC Site Visits The Commissioners discussed their visits with the agencies about their grants for the current year. The agencies did not report any issues with expending their funds, and we received positive feedback regarding the online application format. Several agencies financial longevity was questioned – CASP, Gratefulness Foundation, and CSBI. 4. Review of Application & Timeline SOCIAL & VOLUNTARY SERVICES COMMITTEE - Monday, April 10, 2023 Page |2 The application will open on May 15, and will close on June 5. It was requested that the application clarify the time period from which financials are required. ACTION ITEMS None. MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS The grant applications will be available on Basecamp for Commissioners to review prior to the June 26th meeting.
