MINUTES
It is the policy of the City of Norman that no person or groups of persons shall on the grounds of
race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, gender
identity or expression, familial status, marital status, including marriage to a person of the same
sex, disability, relation, or genetic information, be excluded from participation in, be denied the
benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination in employment activities or in all programs,
services, or activities administered by the City, its recipients, sub-recipients, and contractors. In
the event of any comments, complaints, modifications, accommodations, alternative formats,
and auxiliary aids and services regarding accessibility or inclusion, please contact the ADA
Technician at 405-366-5446, Relay Service: 711. To better serve you, five (5) business days'
advance notice is preferred.

1. Community Action Lab Content Discussion: Discussion with the Strong Towns AD
HOC Committee regarding the topics shared through the Norman Community Action
Lab, with special focus given to how Norman utilizes sales tax to fund local projects.
This is the second of three public workshop presentations with the Community Action
Lab program. This event is an opportunity to discuss issues that are important to the
Norman Community with neighbors.
Edward Erfurt, Strong Towns, talked to the Ad Hoc Committee about the website
and to share it with others to get engaged.

Cameron Brewer stated that the 5 items that the Leadership Team has interest in is
ADU, pattern zoning, minimum lot sizes, reviewing codes and policies, and barriers
to medium-density housing.
Committee members and Strong Towns team talked about different examples of
ways that towns have neem able to implement ADUs and pattern zoning.
Norman City Council has been invited to attend this meeting. It is not a regular meeting of the
City Council; however, this notice is being posted in compliance with the Oklahoma Open
Meetings Act in the event a quorum of Council is present.
There was no quorum present for this meeting.
