VARIANCE #V36-18: LENNAR CAROLINAS LLC has made application for a variance from the Tree Preservation Regulations to disperse required tree replacement on individual lots to the perimeter of the subdivision in order to screen the subdivision from Highway 17 at Seabrook Plantation Subdivision. DECISION: Motion made by Ms. Lover and seconded by Ms. Braswell. Replace with 1 4” tree per lot. Must be hardwood. 144 inches total. 288 inches into the buffer area. 79 inches of street trees. Motion passed 4-0. NEW BUSINESS: A. The secretary swore in those who were to speak. B. VARIANCE #v01-19: Mr. Bruce Kligman has made application for a variance of feet from the required front yard setback of 25 feet in the R-2B ( Single-family Residential, low density medium density) district at 173 Palmetto Harbour Drive. DECISION: Ms. Lover made the motion to grant the variance because of the hardship caused by the drop off of the lot on the rear of the property. Mr. Quinn seconded the motion. The motion passed 4-0. C. VARIANCE #02-19: Ms. Cheryl Justice has made application for a variance to remove a Tree in excess of the 24-inch caliper measurement that id protected by the ordinance at 2306 Holly Drive. DECISION: Ms. Lover made the motion to grant the variance with the condition that the tree cannot be cut until the permit for the pool is issued. The replacement is ½ to 1” replacement.
