AGENDA NORTH PLATTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING Tuesday, January 16, 2024; 5:30 P.M. Approve application by NEBRASKAland Days for a Special Designated Liquor License, for a fundraiser, on February 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the D&N Event Center, 501 E. Walker Rd. (Pages 7-9) (Renee White, Deputy City Clerk) 3. Approve Mayor’s appointment of Lisa McGuire, Lena Hughes, and Brenda Anderson to the North Platte Tree Board. (Page 10-11) (Mayor Kelliher) 4. Send application of Pals Brewing Company (Pals Brewing Playhouse) for a Class I Liquor License located at 301 East 5th Street to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission with no recommendation. Approve the design plans for the Rec Center and Cody Pool Water Park and authorize RDG to prepare construction documents and place both projects for bid. Adopt Ordinance No. 4156 to create Sanitary Sewer Connection District No. 22 a 15” P.V.C. sanitary sewer beginning on Echo Drive approximately 1300 feet south of Walker Road; thence north to Walker Road; thence west along Walker Road to Buffalo Bill Avenue on second reading. Adopt Ordinance No. 4157 annexing Parcel ID # 0053645.00, 0053635.00 and 0053585.10 described as Part of the E ½ W ¼ & Part of the W ½ W ¼ Section 2, Township 13 N, Range 30 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska and Part of Lot 3 & Lot 4 North of Suburban Irrigation Ditch and Part of Accretions of Lot 3 & Lot 4 Section 11, Township 13 N, Range 30 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska consisting of approximately 209 acres on second reading. Adopt Ordinance No. 4158 annexing Parcel ID #0055485.00 and 0053596.00 described as North Platte Farms Subdivision Part of Tract A S ½ of Lot 3 & N ½ of Section 10, Township 13 N, Range 30 West of the 6th P.M, Lincoln County, Nebraska and a Tract of land in Part of the SE ¼ of Section 4, Township 13 N, Range 30 W of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska into the corporate limits of the City of North Platte consisting of approximately 41.86 acres on second reading.
