NOTICE OF SPECIAL NORTH PLATTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of North Platte, Nebraska will hold a Special City Council Meeting on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 211 West 3rd Street, for the purpose of: CALL TO ORDER INVOCATION PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL OPEN MEETINGS ACT A CURRENT COPY OF THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT OF NEBRASKA IS POSTED ON THE WALL AT THE BACK OF THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS. MEETING PROCEDURE THE PUBLIC MAY ADDRESS SPECIFIC AGENDA ITEMS AT THE PLEASURE OF THE MAYOR. IF RECOGNIZED BY THE MAYOR, PLEASE IDENTIFY YOURSELF BY STATING YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS. PLEASE ADDRESS THE COUNCIL THROUGH THE MAYOR AND LIMIT YOUR REMARKS. WE RESPECT OUR CITY EMPLOYEES, AND REQUEST THAT ANY COMPLAINTS OR CRITICISMS OF EMPLOYEES NOT BE AIRED IN A PUBLIC MEETING. Approve an Interlocal Agreement with the State of Nebraska on behalf of the Nebraska State Patrol to provide administration and cooperation for the utilization of North Platte Police Department personnel to provide tactical flight officer support to the air wing division of the Nebraska State Patrol. Adopt Resolution Acknowledging and Accepting the Assignment of the Franchise Ordinance from NorthWestern Corporation to NorthWestern Energy Public Service Corporation.
