Also present: Community Development Director Jake Reilly, Assistant City Planner Revee Needham, Commissioner Buckheit, Commissioner Heisler, Commissioner Schroer, Commissioner Sokup, Commissioner Menard, Commissioner Nowak, Bruce Jacobson, Rhonda Pownell, Ben Martig Present: 7 - Commissioner Alice Thomas, Commissioner Baird Jarman, Commissioner Clifford Clark, Commissioner Michael Meehan, Commissioner Jesse Steed, Commissioner Robert Stangler and Barbara Evans WORK SESSION ITEM 1. 22-577 Discuss Principles for Redevelopment on the Archer House Site. Attachments: 1 - Presentation Bruce Johnson presented principles of design and planning work for construction on the site of Archer House. He addressed five areas: street front and facade, mid-block, riverfront, mobility, and the neighboring Massing property. All were discussed at the level of interests and needs, without set or specific plans. Each member of both commissions present was invited to speak. Commissioners provided statements and input directing consideration of accessibility, community and economic needs, historical design and maintenance of the Historic District, popular interest and input in the project, economic contribution, opportunity for change, and more.
