60 6th Street Committee Meeting Minutes Wednesday, February 22, 2017 5:00 PM Members Present: Alderman H. Tucker Braddock Jr., Alderwoman Stacy Gould, James M. Quarto, Sofee Noblick, Gary Schnip and James Heist Members Absent: None Others present: James Troeger: Building Official, Darryl Wickham 1. Call to Order: Sofee Noblick called the meeting to order at 6:13 PM. 2. Determination of a Quorum: It was determined a quorum was present. 3. Acceptance of Minutes: On a motion by Jim Heist, seconded by Jim Quarto, the committee unanimously accepted the minutes of January 25, 2017 as presented. 3. Public Comments: None 4. Communications: Sofee displayed two newspaper articles regarding the property that appeared in the New London Day and the Norwich Bulletin. 5. Discussion: Walkthroughs: Sofee reported that she and Alderman Braddock both did showings. Several parties walked through. Alderman Braddock will remind the interested parties of the deadline to submit of March 2, 2017. Next Steps: The committee decided to hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 5 PM in the Union Street Conference Room to review proposals. Interviews will be held at the regular meeting of March 7, 2017. 6. Next Meeting: The next regular meeting is Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 5 PM. 7. Adjournment: Upon a motion by Jim Quarto, seconded by Jim Heist, the Committee unanimously voted to adjourn at 6:23 PM. Respectfully Submitted, Melinda Wilson Recording Secretary
