Appointment & Re-Appointment Committee DATE: February 12, 2020 SUBJECT: Special Meeting Minutes MINUTES Call to Order 6:33 p.m. Election of a Chair: Motion made by Alderman Mark Bettencourt, seconded by Alderwoman Ella Myles, to have a rotating chairman for each meeting, motion passed unanimously Interviews were conducted for Board of Assessment Appeal Larry Rice R Uncas Health District Shane Roberts D Personnel & Pension Board Shiela Hayes D Public Utilities Commission and Sewer Authority Michael Goldblatt R Zato Kadambaya D Interviews were concluded at 8:00 P.M. Committee unanimously recommends that Larry Rice be appointed as a full member to the Board of Assessment Appeals. Committee unanimously recommends that Dennis Riley be reappointed as a member of the Board of Assessment Appeals. Committee unanimously recommends that Shiela Hayes be reappointed as a member of the Personnel & Pension Board. Committee unanimously recommends that Shane Roberts be appointed to the Uncas Health District. Committee unanimously recommends that Michael Goldblatt be reappointed to the Public Utilities Commission and Sewer Authority. Meeting ended at 8:33 P.M.
