Minutes for Norwich Baseball Stadium Authority Regular Monthly Meeting Wednesday September 9, 2015 (6:00 p.m.) City Hall Norwich 1. Call to order. Chairperson, Mike Jewell MJ (6:00) NBSA Members Present: Gary Schnip, GS; Michael Jewell, MJ; Tom Cummings, TC; Robert Reed, RR;, , Gary Carignan, GC; Matthew Fortin, MF Members Absent: Sean Ryan, SR Peter Slocum, PS; Bob Demars, BD Also Present: Eric Knighton, EK– CT Tigers Representatives 2. Review of August 12, 2015 Meeting Minutes. Motion made by RR and seconded by TC passed (5-0) to accept the meeting minutes as presented. 3. Public Comment - None 4. Chairman’s Report (MJ) – none 5. Correspondence a. Sent: None b. Received: i. Email from Sandy Kuchta dated September 4, 2015 detailing July financial reports. (See attached). 6. Budget Committee: Thanks to Sandy for email containing financials. Critical that the NBSA continues to receive the financials this way until an Accountant is elected to the NBSA. 7. Operations Committee (GS/Organization Representatives) a. No report this month 8. Organization’s Monthly Report EK – a. Season’s over, attendance record again b. Lost a Saturday game due to HVAC problem that affected the attendance for that night c. I-395 has new signage and it’s large and very visible d. Still lighting issues on the overflow parking lot e. Upcoming events at Dodd Stadium; Auto show, high school soccer games 9. Old Business: Letter to be drafted to be submitted to the City Council including all the major capital improvement/maintenance items. 10. New Business: None 11.
