NOTICE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CONNECTICUT GENERAL STATUTES CHAPTER 14, SECTION 1-225 It is hereby posted with the City and Town Clerk of Norwich, Connecticut, a notice that a City Council Informational Meeting of the Norwich City Council will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 6:45 P.M. in Council Chambers of the Norwich City Hall for the following: 1. A presentation from Norwich Heroin Task Force. The Norwich Heroin Task Force includes individuals from across many disciplines who come together to develop both short and long-term strategies to prevent abuse and addiction, prevent overdose and improve access to different types of treatment for opioid addiction. The presentation will include information on the current opioid epidemic in Norwich and a breakdown of strategies to be implemented over the course of the next year. Mayor Peter Nystrom
