NOTICE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CONNECTICUT GENERAL STATUTES CHAPTER 14, SECTION 1‐225 It is hereby posted with the City and City Clerk of Norwich, Connecticut a notice that an Informational Meeting of the Norwich City Council will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. to 7:20 P.M. at Kelly STEAM Magnet Middle School Auditorium at 25 Mahan Drive for the following: 1. A presentation by the Connecticut Department of Transportation about the proposed Safety Improvements for Route 82, (West Main Street). This presentation will include a brief overview of the purpose and need for the project. The primary focus will be to review the acquisition of Crane Avenue to reconstruct such as a public street and to review maintenance responsibilities with the City. The City will be responsible for maintenance of the sidewalks, bicycle lanes, bus stop signage, bus shelter, and the landscaping within the project limits. Mayor Peter Albert Nystrom
