MINUTES COMMISSION ON THE CITY PLAN Tuesday April 19th, 2016-7:00 P.M. 23 UNION STREET NORWICH CONNECTICUT LOWER LEVEL MEETING ROOM REGULAR MEETING AGENDA ITEMS A, B & C-CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, DETERMINATION OF QUORUM: Art Sharron, Vice-Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Commission Members Present: Art Sharron, Dan Daniska, and new members Kathy Warzecha and Swarnjit Singh Bhatia. A quorum was present. Absent: Michael Lahan, Frank Manfredi and Les King. Also Present: Gary Evans, Director of Planning/CD and Debra Delaporta, recording secretary D. APPROVAL OF MARCH 16th, 2016 Special Meeting minutes Dan Daniska made a motion to accept the minutes from March 16th, 2016. Swarnjit Singh Bhatia seconded the motion, with all members in favor. E: COMMUNICATIONS: City Council resolution of new CCP member appointments & reappointments Art Sharron welcomed new members Kathy Warzecha and Swarnjit Singh Bhatia appointed by the City Council. F: PUBLIC HEARINGS: None G: OLD BUSINESS: None H: NEW BUSINESS: None I: EXTENSIONS: None J: BOND RELEASES: SDP #1033-620 West Main St: Application of Norwich Chicken LLC - Renovation of 2580 sq ft restaurant with site improvements, drive thru and parking- Request for full release of bond from William Sweeney ESQ on behalf of Norwich Chicken LLC Art Sharron stated that City Engineer Pat McLaughlin inspected the property at 620 West Main St. and found it to be in compliance, therefore recommending full release of the bond in the amount of $33,650. Kathy Warzecha made a made a motion to release the full amount of the bond, based on the City Engineer’s recommendation, seconded by Dan Daniska. All members were in favor for full release of the bond in the amount of $33,650. K. ZONING MATTERS: None L. OTHER BUSINESS: None M. ADJOURMENT: Upon motion by Kathy Warzecha, seconded by Swarnjit Singh Bhatia, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:03 P.M.
