Property Rehabilitation Code Correction ‐ $225,000 Wayne Sharkey, Project Manager, presented for the Community Development Office. Mark Marcy questioned whether repayment of loans went back into the program. Wayne stated it does. 2. Rosewood Manor Roof Gutters Phase II – NHA ‐ $150,000 Jeff Arn and John Mainville presented on behalf of the Housing Authority. Mark Marcy asked if not fully funding would create a significant impact. John M. responded that it would because they would have to re‐bid and the costs would go up. 3. HVAC Futures, Inc. ‐ $26,654 Damion Williams, Executive Director presented on behalf of the organization. Mark Marcy asked how many of their clients were Norwich residents? Mr. Williams will get back to the committee. Gemma Fabris asked how much of the building is utilized for programs? Mr. Williams will get back to the committee. Les King asked how many people were in the building. Mr. Williams responded 10‐15 including staff. 4. IASC ‐ $7,000 Joe Marino presented. Les asked how they provide outreach to Norwich residents? Mr. Marion stated through Adult Education and the Library. 5. Norwich Rec Dept. – Taftville Walking Track $37,794 Cheryl Hancin‐Preston presented. No questions from the committee. 6. Norwich Rec Dept – Lake Street Court and Parking $219,932 Cheryl Hancin‐Preston presented. No questions. 7. NHS Rapid Rehousing Shelter Diversion ‐ $15,000 Tara Booker presented. Les King asked if a lot of staff time was spent on screening? Tara stated the “CAN” sorts through assessments. 8. NHS Norwich Works ‐ $60,000 Tara Booker presented. Les King said the request is for $60,000 but only $9,000 goes to the end user is that accurate? Tara stated that she compiled the application while she was new and copied what had been presented before. 9. CD Administration – $189,250 Kathy Crees presented. Kathy explained that there would be program income utilized towards CD Administration. No questions were raised. IV.
