DISC GOLF SUBCOMMITTEE A SUBCOMMITTEE OF THE MOHEGAN PARK IMPROVEMENT & DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Wednesday, December 11, 2019 – 6:30 P.M. Basement Conference Room 23 Union St. Norwich, CT Special Meeting DRAFT Minutes 1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Subcommittee Chairman Kyle Seitz at 6:33pm. Present; Kyle Seitz, Beryl Fishbone, Samantha Ventura, Josh Perry, Sam Browning Absent; Rebecca Melucci, Greg Wintrob, Corey Carlson 2. Official Correspondence: Kyle reported on the Mohegan Park Disc Golf Committee’s Official Financial Statement. The balance of all accounts is $1750.00. 3. Citizen Comments: None 4. Old business: a. Course Fundraising Update i. Kyle reported the Committee was denied a grant from Chelsea Groton Foundation, but that we were encouraged to reapply with and edited application. ii. Beryl volunteered to review the old application and make adjustments. iii. Sam Browning proposed setting goal deadlines for fundraising. A deadline was set for the April meeting for a goal of $5000 in the MPDG Account. Upon reaching that goal, a request may be made to the Mohegan Park Development Committee for the remainder of the funding. 4. New Business: a. Kyle will update the fundraising form for 2020. b. Beryl Fishbone led a discussion regarding fund raising strategy. c. Kyle made motion to return to the bimonthly meeting schedule and change the meeting location to Norwich City Hall. Beryl Fishbone seconded. The motion carried unanimously. 5. Adjournment: A motion to adjourn was made by Beryl. Kyle seconded. The meeting adjourned at 7:14pm.
