Call to order – Secretary J. Sastre called the July 11, 2011 meeting to order at 5:05 P.M. II. Determination of Quorum It was determined a quorum was present. III. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve, W. Rosenfield, 2nd I.Misenheimer, minutes of the June 13, 2011 meeting were approved with corrections. IV. Citizen Comment None V. Correspondence VI. Old Business Executive Session: Report of investigative panel (Executive session not needed- discussed in open session) Complaint #1- Report by I. Misenheimer. Interviews have been scheduled and committee has developed the list of questions they are investigating. Complaints #2, 3, 4-J. Sastre reported that the Committee has scheduled interviews. T. Lanier asked, when complaints are brought forth, can a private person make a complaint on behalf of an organization or private club? J. Sastre & I. Misenheimer responded that anyone can Ethics Commission July 11, 2011 Page -2- make a complaint as a private citizen as long as the complaint is brought against a City employee or official in their capacity as such. They cannot make a complaint on behalf of an organization unless the organization authorizes them to do so. VII. New Business VIII. Other None VIIII. Adjournment Motion to adjourn, T. Lanier, 2nd I.
