Whitty, Chairman, Budget Subcommittee Date: October 25, 2019 Subject: Minutes of the Meeting of the Budget Subcommittee Held on October 25, 2019 The Budget Subcommittee met on Friday, October 25, 2019 in the Authority Room at the Norwich Golf Course, 685 New London Turnpike, Norwich, CT. Members Present Michael Driscoll Richard Podurgiel Charles C. Whitty Barney Caulfield, Chairman, NGCA Others Present Mike Svab, Pro Manager (arrived at 10:00 a.m.) Eric Kundhal, Course Superintendent (arrived at 10:30 a.m.) Sandra Kuchta, Accountant Call to Order Chairman Whitty called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. The Budget Subcommittee reviewed with the Pro Manager, Course Superintendent and Accountant the status of the 2019 budget, revenues and expenses, and began finalization of the 2020 budget. A motion was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Driscoll, and approved unanimously, to recommend to the members of the Norwich Golf Course Authority that the proposed budget for 2020 prepared by the budget subcommittee be approved. A motion was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Driscoll, and approved unanimously, to recommend to the members of the Norwich Golf Course Authority that the proposed dues, fees and rates for 2020 prepared by the budget subcommittee be approved. A Special Meeting of the Norwich Golf Course Authority regarding the above shall be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Norwich Golf Course, Authority Room, 685 New London Turnpike, Norwich, CT. Adjournment A motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:15 a.m. was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Caulfield, and approved unanimously.
