To: NGCA Members From: Bob Malouf, Acting Chairman NGCA Re: Minutes of NGCA Budget Committee meeting of October 28, 2020 Members Present Bob Malouf Barney Caulfield Richard Podurgiel Michael Driscoll Others Present Mike Svab, Pro Manager Eric Kundahl, Superintendent Tony Madeira, Finance Bridget Pearson, Finance Acting Chairman Bob Malouf called the October 28, 2020 meeting of the Budget Committee in to order at 9:10 a.m. Mr. Madeira reported on Revenues through October 25, 2020. Total Revenues were $1,202,198.74, operating Revenues $1,152,198.71. There was brief discussion about the distinction between the two reported Revenues, Revenues received post October 25, 2020, and the predicted amount of further Revenues during 2020. A motion to go into executive session to review a new draft of a proposed budget incorporating additional information, with the Committee concluding that the public interest in withholding the document at this time clearly outweighs the public interest in disclosure at this time, Messrs. Svab, Kundahl and Madeira and Ms. Pearson asked to participate in the executive session, was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Caulfield and approved by a vote of 4-0. The executive session commenced at 9:15 a.m. A motion to return to regular session at 10:38 a.m., with Mr. Malouf noting that no votes had been taken during executive session, was made by Mr. Driscoll, seconded by Mr. Podurgiel and approved by a vote of 4-0. A motion to approve the draft budget as presented by Mr. Madeira for presentation to the full Golf Authority at the next regular meeting was made by Mr. Driscoll, seconded by Mr. Podurgiel and approved by a vote of 4-0. A motion to adjourn was made at 10:40 a.m. by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Malouf, and approved by a vote of 4-0.
