To: NGCA Members From: Bob Malouf, Chairman NGCA Re: Minutes of NGCA Budget Committee meeting of October 7, 2021 Members Present Bob Malouf Richard Podurgiel Michael Driscoll Others Present Mike Svab, Pro Manager Eric Kundahl, Superintendent Tony Madeira, Finance Department Mitchell Nixon, Finance Department Chairman Malouf called the October 7, 2021 meeting of the Budget Committee to order at 9:05 p.m. Mr. Nixon presented a brief Financial Report noting that Revenues through September total $1,193,000, approximately $6,000 over budgeted full year Revenues for 2021. Mr. Svab indicated Revenues continue to be strong through October. Motion to accept the Financial Report was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Malouf and approved by a roll call vote of 3-0. At 9:10 a.m. a motion to go into executive session to review drafts of various budget scenarios presented for the 2022 budget including compensation and salary under circumstances wherein the need to keep the information confidential at this point outweighs the public interest in disclosure, with Messrs. Svab, Kundahl, Madeira, and Nixon invited to participate in the executive session in whole or in part at the request of the Authority, was made by Mr. Driscoll, seconded by Mr. Podurgiel and approved by a unanimous 3-2 vote. At 10:34 p.m. a motion to return to regular session was made by Mr. Driscoll, seconded by Chairman Malouf noting that no votes were taken during the executive session. A motion to return to regular session was adopted by roll call vote of 3-0. A motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 10:46 a.m. was made by Mr. Driscoll, seconded by Mr. Podurgiel and approved by roll call 3-0 vote.
