Greeneville Neighborhood Revitalization Committee

March 6, 2023 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Peter Procko, Nancy Procko, Kathleen Strenkowski, Henry Fidrych, John Mercier, and Zechariah Stover Guests: Father Christopher Rogalski, Rodryg Rogalski, Tommy Yorz, Cynthia Jean-Marie, Douglas Thompson, Tamir Capehart, Judy Post, Kim Langley. Approval of Minutes: Minutes of January 16, 2023 and February 6, 2023 were accepted and approved. Correspondence: A letter from The Last Green Valley was read. Old Business: Earth Day, April 22, 2023. Committee formed to organize Earth Day Events at the Greeneville Playground. Murals: Wall art should depict historic theme of Greeneville. Capehart Update: There is interest in the property. Greeneville Playground: No updates anticipated at this time. Firehouse Community Room: For public meetings only. New Business: By-laws were reviewed by Peter Procko and Nancy Procko. Sydney Phelps will be the City of Norwich representative to the NRZ. Salvation Army summer camp for children: Voted and approved to sponsor eight children from the village of Greeneville. Store front decoration was discussed. Starwoods Property: Uses for the vacant building were discussed. Reimbursements. A motion was made and passed to reimburse $46.32 to Nancy Procko for stationary supplies. Motion was made and passed to reimburse $457.45 to Zechariah Stover for old Central Ave beautification project. Other Issues: None Adjournment: Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm.
