HARBOR MANAGEMENT COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, November 1, 2017 Howard T. Brown Park Gazebo, 5:00 PM SPECIAL MEETING MEMBERS PRESENT: Alderman Gerald Martin, Alderman H. Tucker Braddock, Jr., Josh Bakoulis, Mark Sicuso & Zechariah Stover OTHERS PRESENT: Recording Secretary Melinda Wilson MEMBERS ABSENT: Richard Benoit and Michael Gualtieri CITIZENS PRESENT: None 1. Call to Order: Alderman Martin called the meeting to order at 5:01 PM. 2. Executive Session: Review and consider report and information and discuss possible property acquisition Alderman Martin read the following motion to enter Executive Session: I hereby move, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes 1-200(6), that the members of the Norwich Harbor Commission go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the acquisition of real estate or interests in real estate when publicity regarding the proposed acquisition would cause a likelihood of an increased price to acquire the property, and to review feasibility evaluations made, and report regarding such property. Motion was seconded by Alderman Braddock and passed unanimously. The Harbor Management Commission entered Executive Session at 5:02. The Harbor Management Commission came out of Executive Session at 5:16. Alderman Martin reported no votes were taken during Executive Session. On a motion by Mark Sicuso, seconded by Alderman Braddock, the Harbor Management Commission voted to have Alderman Martin and Alderman Braddock present their recommendation to move forward with property acquisition to the City Council in Executive Session. Alderman Martin, Alderman Braddock, Mark Sicuso and Josh Bakoulis voted in favor. Zechariah Stover voted against. 3. Adjournment: On a motion to adjourn by Alderman Braddock, seconded by Mark Sicuso, the Harbor Management Commission meeting adjourned at 5:19 PM.
