HARBOR MANAGEMENT COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Monday, May 13, 2019 City Hall, Room 319, 6:00 PM Special Meeting MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Tucker Braddock, Alderman Joseph DeLucia, City Manager John Salomone, Peter Barber, Michael Gualtieri, Jerry Martin, Mark Sicuso & Zechariah Stover MEMBERS ABSENT: Alderwoman Joanne Philbrick OTHERS PRESENT: Recording Secretary Melinda Wilson CITIZENS PRESENT: None 1. Call to Order: Chair Tucker Braddock called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. 2. Determination of Quorum: It was determined a quorum was present. 3. Old business: a) CT Port Authority Grant Opportunity: a. Payment to Docko for plans Chair Braddock explained that the cost of having Docko produce the plans for the estimate for the grant proposal to the Connecticut Port Authority for replacement of the docks at Howard T. Brown Park will be $12,500. Mike Gualtieri reported that the unrestricted balance in the Harbor Management Commission (HMC) account was $15,370.35. Chair Braddock explained the project and some of the improvements to the docks. The cost to produce the plans for the estimate of the related work would qualify as a reimbursable expense with the grant funding. On a motion by Jerry Martin, seconded by Mark Sicuso, the HMC unanimously approved payment of $12,500 from the Harbor Management Commission account to Docko for production of the plans to replace the docks. 4. Adjournment: On a motion to adjourn by Jerry Martin, seconded by Mark Sicuso, the Harbor Management Commission meeting adjourned at 6:12 PM.
