Minutes Monday, December 11, 2023
Meeting called to order at 2:32 pm
Attendance: Patrick McCormack, Brigid Marks, Shiela Hayes, Dr. Ramindra (Micky) Walia, Dr.
Kyle McClaine Joseph Zuzel, Cathy Special Chef Patrick Daley
A quorum is present.
A motion to approve the Minutes from the September 11, 2023 meeting was made by Shiela
Hayes and seconded by Dr. Walia. Roll Call. Motion passed with Dr. McClaine abstaining.
Chair Zuzel – Updates – the October 2023 was submitted to the City Manager/City Council.
Invited Guest Speaker – State Rep. Derell Wilson discussed with the committee it scope and
historical persective with respect to the resolution form the Health Equity Committee as a former
city councilman. Also, discussed the upcoming 2024 CT Leglistative Session.
Review of committee assignments.
A motion to amend the agenda to focus on interal city processes and legislative advocacy was
made by Shiela Hayes and seconded by Cathy Special. Motion passed unanimously.
A motion to adjourn was made by Shiela Hayes and seconded by Dr. Walia. Motion passed
unanimously.
