HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION, NORWICH, CONNECTICUT 16 December 2010 The regular meeting off the Norwich Historic District Commission was held on 16 December 2010 at 380 Washington Street at 5 p.m. Members Present: Malcolm Edgar, Chairman Judith Hamblen Gideon Loewenstein Marco Middleton Pam Muccilli Cort Murphy Nancy O’Neil Proposed Alternate Member: Rob Champagne REGULAR MEETING A. The minutes of the November meeting were approved as presented by unanimous vote. B. Old Business 1. Chairman Edgar reported that the Preservation Award plaques were presented in City Council chambers by Mayor Peter Nystrom. All recipients were present except the Miller family of 23 Spalding Street. Efforts to contact them following the ceremony have not been successful. Ms Mucilli will continue to pursue contact. 2. Edgar has spoken to John Hansen of Camaro Signs about the possibility of having the Preservation Award plaques made locally. C. New Business Election of Officers: A motion made by Middleton and seconded by Hamblen to elect Malcolm Edgar as Chairman for 2011 was approved by unanimous vote. A motion made by O’Neil and seconded by Hamblen to elect Gideon Loewenstein as Vice Chairman for 2011 was approved by unanimous vote Sent via email 1-12-11 D.
