MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE NORWICH HOUSING AUTHORITY HELD TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2014 The Board of Commissioners (“Board”) of the Norwich Housing Authority (“Authority”) met in special session at the office of the Norwich Housing Authority, 10 Westwood Park, Norwich, Connecticut, at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, September 23, 2014. I. Call to order. Chairman Baillargeon called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM and the following answered present: Wilma Sullivan Paul Gauthier Marion Rucker Hector Baillargeon Alice Cunningham was excused. Also present was Charles C. Whitty, Executive Director. Mr. John Mainville and Mr. Whitty reviewed the Eastwood Court Roof Replacement project and bids with the Board. The low bidder was BRD Builders, LLC. Ms. Sullivan moved and Mr. Rucker seconded the motion to enter into Executive Session at 11:40 AM to discuss a legal matter. Motion carried unanimously. The Board requested that Mr. Whitty, Miss Drag and Mr. Mainville be present for the Executive Session. Ms. Sullivan moved and Mr. Gauthier seconded the motion to exit the Executive Session at 12:01 PM. Motion carried unanimously. Chairman Baillargeon noted that no votes were taken in Executive Session. II. Consider and take action on Resolution S-14-09-1182 to award the Eastwood Court Roof Replacement Project. Mr. Gauthier moved to adopt Resolution S-14-09-1182 to award the Eastwood Court Roof Replacement Project to BRD Builders, LLC. Ms. Sullivan seconded the motion. Roll call vote: Ayes – Rucker, Sullivan, Gauthier, Baillargeon Nays - None Motion carried unanimously. Minutes of the Norwich Housing Authority – September 23, 2014 page 2 VII. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to discuss, Ms. Sullivan moved and Mr. Gauthier seconded the motion that the special meeting be adjourned. Motion carried unanimously.
