NORWICH ICE RINK AUTHORITY MINUTES FROM MEETING HELD August 21, 2014 Authority Attendance: Pete Desaulniers, Cheryl Ritacco, Mike Goldblatt, JoAnn Beguhl, Mark Bettencourt Absent: Gary Makowicki Guests: Shannon FitzGerald Meeting was called to order by Pete Desaulniers at 7:02 pm, a quorum was present. Review of Minutes from July 17, 2014: Cheryl Ritacco made a motion to approve the minutes from July 17, 2014 as submitted; JoAnn Beguhl seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. There were no public comments Correspondence: Pete received originals of the Rink Management contract and the Director of Rink Operations contract. New Business Rink Authority Secretary Position: Secretary Duties will be temporary shared among Authority Members until the position is filled Old Business Rink Management contract update: The Authority’s role going forward will be monitoring compliance of contract and act as a liaison between Norwich RoseGarden Associates and the City of Norwich.
