NORWICH ICE ARENA AUTHORITY MINUTES FROM MEETING HELD MARCH 18, 2015 Authority Attendance: Pete Desaulniers, JoAnn Beguhl, Mark Bettencourt, Cheryl Ritacco, Gary Makowicki, Mike Goldblatt Not in Attendance: Angela Duhaime Meeting was called to order by Pete Desaulniers at 7:03 pm, a quorum was present. Review of the Minutes from February 18, 2015: Gary Makowicki made a motion to approve the minutes from February 18, 2015; Mike Goldblatt seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Public Comments There were no public comments. Correspondence A past due notice from Eagle Leasing was received. Mark Bettencourt made a motion to authorize payment of outstanding balance of $384.80 to Eagle Leasing; Mike Goldblatt seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously. Old Business Previously purchased punch cards were retrieved following inquiries from customers. The City plans to post a notice for six months on norwichct.org and rosegardenicearena.com stating that anyone who has a balance on a previously purchased punch card can come to the rink with proof of purchase to redeem balance. Pete Desaulniers provided an update regarding the concession stand and pro shop. A partnership has been created with Mr. Pizza in Norwich to run the concession stand, scheduled to be opened soon. The pro shop status is to be determined New Business New business was addressed as correspondence regarding leasing invoice With a motion by Mark Bettencourt and seconded by JoAnn Beguhl, the meeting was adjourned at 7:20pm.
