NORWICH ICE ARENA AUTHORITY MINUTES FROM MEETING December 16, 2015 Authority Attendance: Pete Desaulniers, JoAnne Beguhl, Mark Bettencourt, Gary Makowicki, Tina Dempsey Not in Attendance: Cheryl Ritacco, Angela Duhaime Meeting was called to order by Pete Desaulniers at 7:00 pm, a quorum was present. Review of Minutes from November September 16, 2015: JoAnne Beguhl made a motion to approve the minutes of September 16, 2015 as submitted seconded by Gary Makowicki, passed unanimously. There were no public comments. Correspondence: Pete Desaulniers read a correspondence received via email from Lisa of Rose Garden Ice Arena. The issue was to provide an Update on events and operations. Also indicated a pending meeting on December 22, 2015 between City Officials and Rose Garden. In discussion it was noted that two Authority Members should be also in attendance and recommended that Pete Desaulniers and Gary Makowicki attend. Also received via email were several communications between Cheryl Ritacco and Josh Pothier in regards to question from the Authority. Received was a letter of resignation from Angela Duhaime Old Business: Status of financials and payment was discussed. These issues will be discussed at the December 22, 2015 meeting. New Business: Motion was made by JoAnne Beguhl to accept with regret the resignation of Angela Duhaime, motion seconded by Gary Makowicki, motion passed unanimously. Position on Authority open and posted on web site. Update from Management: As previously noted above the update and information provided by Lisa was received and discussed.
