Public Comment - none 5. Correspondence – The RoseGarden Ice Arena 2019-2020 gross revenue projections were handed out for review. 6. Old Business 1. Update and discussion regarding lease terms – This was addressed under new business with review of revenue numbers. 7. New Business 1. Receipt and Discussion on revenue projections – JoAnn Beguhl led the discussion in reviewing the numbers. She pointed out that with the new fiscal year the calculation of the lease payment would be 10 percent of revenue. Based on revenue projections the annual lease payment would increase to over $90,000. She expressed a concern that since we didn’t as of yet have audited records we couldn’t invoice an updated amount for the quarterly payment. Shannon stated that she had been told by Lisa that the audit process was nearly complete. Joann remains concerned that the quarterly payments will be short and that will cause cash flow problems for the rink if they have to make up the arrearage all at once when revenue is down. It remains very important to get the audited numbers and she will continue to work with the comptroller’s office and follow up. 2. Shannon Fitzgerald reported to the authority that: • The lights have been fixed in the parking lot • Yesterday they started sealing and painted some of the lines • 10/26 & 27 the rink will hold the Holiday Challenge Competition • It was noted that the 2 co-op programs combined into one program and there may be some minor impact on rink revenue. 3. Anything else to be brought before the authority – It was noted that the sign work hadn’t been done. Mark Sicuso will follow up with the comptroller’s office and Public Works. 8. Adjournment- There being no other business, a motion to adjourn was made by Mark Sicuso, seconded by Gary Makowicki and passed unanimously at 6:25 pm. Submitted by, Mark Bettencourt, Chairman
