SEPTEMBER 6, 2012 Regular Meeting Minutes CITY OF NORWICH INLAND WETLANDS, WATERCOURSES AND CONSERVATION COMMISSION Lower-level Conference Room, 23 Union Street, Norwich, Connecticut Agenda Items A, B & C – Call To Order, Roll Call, Determination Of Quorum: Chairman Raymond Baribeault called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Raymond Baribeault, Chairman Richard Morell, Vice-Chairman Barbara Rothstein Ralph Page Douglas S. Lee Art Sharron, Alt Robert McCoy, Alt Brandon Hyde Philip Kiley Absent: Jeremiah Lowney Also Present: Peter Davis, Director Linda Lee Smith, Recording Secretary It was determined there was a quorum. Chairman Baribeault introduced Philip Kiley, new member to the Commission, who has a background in the Coast Guard, has been involved with wetlands and studied maritime policy at Mystic Seaport. D. Minutes: Upon motion by Ralph Page and second by Douglas Lee the Commission voted unanimously to APPROVE the minutes of the June 7, 2012 regular meeting. E. Communications: NONE F. Public Hearings: NONE G. Old Business: NONE H. New Business: IWWCC #12-12 – activities associated with underground storage tank removal/replacement at the 7-Eleven, 152 Taftville-Occum Road.  Peter Davis stated that this was a buffer activity at the 7-Eleven and it would need to be tabled until the next regular meeting, due to the required 30 day public petition period. Upon motion by Ralph Page and seconded by Richard Morell the Commission voted unanimously to TABLE the application until the next regular scheduled meeting of October 4, 2012, in order to comply with the required 30 day petition period.
