Regular Meeting Minutes May 6, 2021 CITY OF NORWICH INLAND WETLANDS, WATERCOURSES AND CONSERVATION COMMISSION VIRTUAL/REMOTE MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chairman Doug Lee called the meeting to order at 12:00 PM. B. ROLL CALL and SEATING of ALTERNATES: Present: Vice Chairman Douglas Lee, Peter Chalecki, Michael Lahan, Swarnjit Singh Bhatia Absent: Chairman Rich Morell, Brandon Hyde, Robert McCoy Also Present: Dan Daniska, Assistant City Planner C. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES D. COMMUNICATIONS E. PUBLIC HEARINGS F. OLD BUSINESS G. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Receipt of Applications Dan Daniska stated that he had just received a phone call from Brandon Handfield, the engineer for the submitted application. Mr. Daniska informed the Commission that the application did not need to be received at this time as the proposed work is less extensive than a previously approved administrative modification, IWWCC #18-12A(M). Mr. Daniska told the Commission that he would be processing the currently proposed modifications as IWWCC #18-12A(M2). Mr. Daniska explained that a number of proposed improvements had been removed or scaled back at the request of the State Office of Historic Preservation. Mr. Daniska thanked the Commission for their time and apologized regarding the last minute change in how the application would be handled. H. OTHER BUSINESS I. VIOLATIONS J. ADJOURNMENT: Michael Lahan made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 12:03 PM. Swarnjit Singh Bhatia seconded. All voted in favor. The meeting adjourned at 12:03 PM.
