The financial report was provided by Pat Mcglaughlin, Interest was earned and there were no
expenditures. Bill Barbuto reported that he had met with the City Treasurer Michael Gualtieri
to see if we could have the balance transferred to a higher interest earning CD in a local bank
seeing as we have no major expenses in the foreseeable future. The Treasurer explained that
the Mohegan Park Development Fund was not in a seperate account that could be transferred
as it was just in the pot with all of the city's funds that were invested in multiple Banks.
4. OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE None.
5. OLD BUSINESS
a. Disc Golf Updates: Kyle Seitz reported that the committee had met at the 23
Main st office suites and had set a schedule to meet on the 2nd Wednesdays of the

to formulate ideas to raise the funds.
b. Special Event Days;
i. On Saturday Feb 16th Allison Black led a group of 13 people on a walk around
Spaulding Pond for The Great American Bird Count. She identified about 12
species of birds by sight or by sound or feathers found along the path. We all
enjoyed the 1 hour stroll and we were all impressed by her vast knowledge.

and unanimously by Committee. Next meeting May 9,2019
b. Alderman Sam Browning also informed us that he had a New Proposal for
by-law 14-2(e) that read: The selling of food or drink in Mohegan Park
shall require the permission of the Director of Public Works. Such permission
shall specify the scope, time, and location of this activity as approved by the
Director. The Director shall have the authority to create rules for,and
charge reasonable fees to, anyone selling food or drink in Mohegan Park.
7. CITIZENS COMMENT Chief Of Police Patrick Daly explained to us the
departments opinion that there should not be Dogs allowed in Mohegan Park
as officers routinely tell people walking there with dogs that they must leave and
use the city's Dog Park On Asylum Street. He told us they have responded to
many dog on dog & dog on people attacks though out the city and feel that
for every ones safety dog owners should only walk their dogs on their own
personal property OR the Asylum Street Dog Park.
8. ADJOURNMENT
Motion was made to adjourn by Samantha Venturo, seconded by Rebecca Melucci
and voted unanimously by the committee. The meeting adjourned at 8:08 P.M.
