MOHEGAN PARK IMPROVEMENT & DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Thursday, September 12, 2019 - - 6:30 PM Norwich Public Works Conference Room 50 Clinton Ave, Norwich, CT Regular Meeting MINUTES 1. CALL TO ORDER at 6:30 P.M, Rebecca Melucci, Beryl Fishbone, Judy Magnano, Sam Browning, Patrick McLaughlin, Bill Barbuto Present. Samantha Venturo & Kyle Seitz Absent. 2. CITIZEN COMMENT : None 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES a. Minutes of regular meeting held on July 12, 2019 Rebecca Melucci made the motion to accept. Sam Browning seconded. Then voted Unanimously. b. Minutes of Special Meeting Rebecca Melucci made the motion to accept, seconded by Bill Barbuto. Then Voted Unanimously. 4. NEW BUSINESS th a. 2020 Meeting Calendar The 2020 Meetings will be at 6:30 P. M. on ; Jan 9 ,March th th th th th 12 ,May 14 ,July 9 ,Sept 10 ,Nov 12 . All Held at Norwich Public Works Conference Room at 50 Clinton Ave Norwich,CT. 5. OLD BUSINESS a. Disc Golf Update Still Fundraising. b. Food Truck Report Ordinance passed by City Council, All Vendors must have a Permit from the City. c. Handicap Parking Space report None. d. Water Tank Trees We have been informed that Blue Spruce Trees will be planted. e. Signage for Park Patrick McLaughlin said he will come up with some ideas for our next meeting. f. Dept. of Public Works Report Patrick McLaughlin informed us that the Public Works Dept will once again Lower the Water level in Spaulding Pond Over the Winter as it was effective in killing off some of the weed growth by exposure and freezing last year. 6. OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE None. 7. FINANCIAL REPORT Continues to make good interest as invested by the City Treasurers Office. Motion made to accept report by Bill Barbuto, seconded by Rebecca Melucci, Then Voted Unanimously. 8. ADJOURNMENT Motion to Adjourn at 6:55 by Rebecca Melucci, seconded by Sam Browning.
