Wednesday, November 10, 2021 – 6:30 P.M.
Regular Meeting
A virtual meeting to comply with the directive of Executive Order 7B-1 issued by
Governor Ned Lamont on March 14, 2020 together with any Executive Orders
subsequently issued which pertain to such meetings.
MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Beryl Fishbone at 6:35 P.M. Committee
members present: Beryl Fishbone, Judy Magnano, Alderwoman Stacy Gould, and
Patrick McLaughlin (Ex-Officio). Absent: Samantha Venturo and Rebecca
Melucci (excused due to conflicting meeting).
A regular meeting was not held due to lack of a quorum.

4. NEW BUSINESS
Discussion and Approval of the 2022 MPIDAC Meeting Calendar. As required by
the Freedom of Information Law, a schedule of regular meetings for 2022 must
be published for the following year. All meetings will be held at the Norwich Pub-
lic Works Headquarters, 50 Clinton Avenue, at 6:30PM or Via Zoom.

sentative.
5. OLD BUSINESS
a) Report on American Rescue Plan Funding; $200k for park improvements;
$120k to replace the toddler playscape near the beach,
$50 K Adult fitness station course,
$30k expansion of the disc golf course to a full 18 hole/basket course.
b) The City Council approved the gazebo rental raise to $225 effective in January
c) Additional funds for the kiosk?
d) Progress report on brochure
e) New Projects?
f) Reminder; Please encourage volunteers to apply for the two open positions,
and other volunteer Boards of the City.
