Request for a prior service buyback from Sherry Filiatreault (Children First Network Coordinator) for the period of 10/16/2000 – 6/30/2007. Brigid Marks, on the advice of Corporation Counsel sent an email to her union representative requesting information on the legal precedent of which they believe to be improper. Tabled until requested information is received. B. Request for a prior service buyback from Lisa Diaz (Young Parents Program Sr. Care Manager) for the period of December 1996 – June 2007- Brigid Marks on the advice of Corporation Counsel sent an email to her union representative requesting information on the legal precedent of which they believe to be improper. Tabled until requested information is received. C. Refunds - tabled until Corporation Counsel has had time to research the issue of refunds. V. New Business A. Request for a refund of pension contributions plus interest from Robert Smith, who was terminated effective 7/31/2006 in the amount of $70,939.35. B. Pension calculation for Warren Knight, who retired 3/18/2012. Mr. Knight’s pension is calculated for an annual amount of $71,393.76. Mr. Knight’s application for retirement was approved at the 2/21/2012 meeting C. Pension calculation for Natalie Lindberg, who retired 3/15/2012. Ms. Lindberg’s pension is calculated for an annual amount of $4,378.27. Ms. Lindberg’s application for retirement was approved at the 3/20/2012 meeting D. Notification of death of retiree Arlene Sullivan (DOD 4/2/2012), who retired from BOE on 8/17/1991, no survivorship benefit due. E. Notification of death of surviving spouse Marcella Trasko (DOD 4/7/2012), who’s husband retired from NPU on 8/23/1985 (DOD 9/8/2005), no survivorship benefit due. F. Notification of new pension benefit due to a Domestic Relations Order payable to Dolores Lutsky eff. 4/1/2012 – annual amount =$8,038.46. Warren Knight’s will be reduced to $63,355.30 annual. G. Notification of new pension benefit due to a Domestic Relations Order payable to Lorene Flynn- Lenington eff. 4/1/2012 – annual amount =$6,554.13. James Serwinski’s will be reduced to $25,591.69 annual. H. Discussion and possible action on changing valuation and/or benefit statement dates I.
