Motion to approve the November 21, 2017 Personnel & Pension Board meeting minutes made by Sheila Hayes,seconded by John John, all in favor. III. Old Business A. Review of procedure for unclaimed pension refunds. Corporation Counsel Mike Driscoll to advise on disposition of fxmds. Table to the January 2018 meeting. Mike Driscoll is still reviewing. Motion to table procedure for unclaimed funds to the February meeting made by Shiela Hayes,seconded by John John, all in favor. IV. New Business A. 2017fourth quarter investment review with UBS. Marc Shegoski, Ashley Martella and David Sears presented the UBS House View: We are still in the late stages of the continuing bull market. Growth, inflation and earnings will continue to accelerate with three modest interest rate hikes expected this year. US valuations are fair given the environment. Equities remain attractive versus bonds and are still overweight in global stocks versus bonds. They recommend an overweight to large-cap value versus growth.They continue to favor

James Willcox, Custodian-BOE, for a normal retirement effective December 1, 2017. 3. Joseph Cooper, Recycling Coordinator, for a normal retirement effective January 4, 2018. 4. James Telgarsky, Public Works Crew Leader, for a normal retirement effective January 4, 2018. 5. Kathleen Tennant, Paraeducator-BOE, for a normal retirement effective January 20, 2018. 6. Martin Gillette, Control Room Operator-NPU, for a normal retirement effective February 17, 2018. 7. Janice Thompson, Human Services Administrative Coordinator, for a normal retirement effective March 3, 2018. F. Pension calculations: 1. Lisa Ensling, retired January 3, 2013. Her pension is calculated for $6,260.15 annually payable March 9, 2029. Her application for a deferred retirement is on this agenda for approval. 2. James Willcox, retired December 1, 2017. His pension is calculated for $20,169.52. His application for retirement is on this agenda for approval. 3. Lauren Casady, retired December 8, 2017. His pension is calculated for $45,839.81 annually. His application for retirement was approved at the November 2017 meeting. 4. Alan Bush, retired January 1, 2018. His pension is calculated for $11,928.61 annually. His application for retirement was approved at the October 2017 meeting. 5. James Telgarsky, retired January 4, 2018. His pension is calculated for $38,328.44. His application for retirement is on this agenda for approval. Joseph Cooper, retired January 4, 2018. His pension is calculated for $14,354.85 annually. His application for retirement is on this agenda for approval. G. Application for refund/rollover of pension contributions: 1. Mario Gualtieri, Utility Meter Reader-BOE, who terminated December 21, 1991. Refund of $26,772.46 with interest (thru 08/31/2017). 2. Nora Bartnicki, Paraeducator-BOE, who terminated August 11, 2016. Refund of $3,553.29 with interest (thru 09/30/2017). 3. Sarah Toof, Paraeducator-BOE, who terminated September 13, 2017. Refund of $2,971.88 with interest (thru 08/31/2017) H. Notification of death: 1. Stephen Garstka, DOD December 6, 2017, who retired from Public Works on April 10, 2004. Survivor benefit immediately payable to his spouse, Jeanne Garstka, in the amount of $46,262.90 annually. 2. Anthony Jablonski, DOD December 6, 2017, who retired from Public Works on February 4, 2004. No further benefit due. I. Request from John Bilda, General Manager-NPU, to extend the eligibility list for Customer Account Rep I for one year. The current list expires on April 4, 2018. J.
