Meeting called to order by Paul Schroder at 6:00 pm.

II. Minutes
A. Minutes of the January 16,2018 Personnel & Pension Board Meeting.
Motion to approve the January 16,2018 Personnel & Pension Board meeting minutes
made by John John,seconded by Shiela Hayes,all in favor.
III. Old Business
A. Review of procedure for unclaimed pension refunds. Corporation Counsel Mike
Driscoll to advise on disposition of funds. Tabled to the February 2018 meeting.
Mike Driscoll is still reviewing. Brigid Marks will send a letter to Mike Driscoll for
status update. Motion to table procedure for unclaimed funds to the March meeting
made by Paul Schroder,seconded by Shiela Hayes, all in favor.
B. Review updated draft version of the investment policy and asset allocation with UBS.
Tabled to the February 2018 meeting.
Josh Pothier and Marc Shegoski presented a draft of the updated investment policy
for board review. As part of the policy, updated asset allocations were presented
with comparisons to similar Connecticut municipal pension and OPEB plans.
Motion to table to the March meeting to allow for board review made by Paul
Schroder,seconded by John John, all in favor.

effective May 5, 2018.
6. Milan Kukich, Maintenance mechanic-NPU, for a normal retirement effective July
28, 2018.
B. Application for refund/rollover of pension contributions:
1. Kennedy Dziengiel, Paraeducator-BOE, who terminated July 28, 2016. Refund of
$4,721.62 with interest (thru 09/30/2017).
2. Kathryn Procko, Paraeducator-BOE, who terminated July 10, 2017. Refund of
$12,172.35 with interest (thru 07/31/2017).
3. Shonya Collier, Paraeducator-BOE, who terminated August 27, 2017. Refund of
$5,599.02 with interest (thru 09/30/2017).
4. Brandon Gale, Assistant Network Technician-BOE, who terminated November 17,
2017. Refund of $28,485.29 with interest (thru 11/30/2017).
5. Marcia Nelson, School Nurse-BOE, who terminated December 3, 2017. Refund of
$4,152.88 with interest (thru 01/31/2018).
6. Auguste Desrouilleres, Community Development-Lead Community Liaison, who
terminated December 29, 2017. Refund of $528.43 with interest (thru 01/31/18).
7. Tanya Ciorciari, Paraeducator-BOE, who terminated January 7, 2018. Refund of
$1,681.84 with interest (thru 01/31/2018).
8. Angela Duhaime, Human Services-Partnership for Success Coordinator, who
terminated January 19, 2018. Refund of $2,830.01 with interest (thru 01/31/2018).

3. Sadye Gerst, DOD January 15, 2018, who retired from the Senior Center on January
30, 1999. No further benefit due.
