Annual Pension Plans Comparison Review was accepted at the February 2021 meeting. UBS will review with the Board at a future date. Motion to table review with UBS to the next meeting made by Rich MoreUi,seconded by Bob Pounch,all in favor. B. Update on special election for an employee representative. Sandy Pimentel reported there are two nominees and the special election will be held electronically next week. C. Discussion of pension contribution choices upon termination for vested participants. Because these former participants are also eligible to receive a deferred pension, an opinion was requested from Corporation Counsel, Mike Driscoll. Mike Driscoll is researching the differences there may be for vested participants. Motion to table imtil an opinion is received from Mike Driscoll made by Rich Morelli, seconded by Bob Pounch, all in favor. rV. New Business A. Applications for Retirement: 1. Danette Thornton, Administrative Assistant-BOE, for a deferred retirement effective February 6. 2021. 4. Laura Danao, General Management Secretary-NPU, for a deferred retirement effective May 7, 2021. 5. B. Pension Calculations: 1. Debra Frank retired November 5,2020. Her annual pension calculation is $6,428.73, payable August 21,2023. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting for approval. 2. Adiena Nagel retired February 1,2021. Her annual pension calculation is $36,791,76, payable December 31,2026. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting for approval. 3. Danette Thornton retired February 6,2021. Her annual pension calculation is $11,913.91, payable Jime 12,2029. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting for approval. 4. Beth Desmond retired March 11,2021. Her annual pension calculation is $26,220.75. Her application was approved at the August 2020 meeting. 5. Kevin Wilbur retired March 15, 2021. His annual pension calculation is $56,447.48. His application was approved at the March 2021 meeting.
