Motion to accept the July 19, 2022 minutes made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Rich Morelli, all in favor III. Old Business A. Review draft update of the Fire Pension Plan Summary Book Tabled from the October 18, 2022 meeting. IV. New Business Paul Schroder made a motion to add to the agenda under suspension of rules, A to section IV New Business, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor A. UBS Investment Recommendation Marc Shegoski from UBS Financial Services, Inc. asked the P&P Board members for their approval to invest $7.22 million dollars. Paul Schroder opened the floor to board members for discussion and asked if all board members agreed with the proposed investment strategy. Motion made by Mike Dziavit to approve UBS recommendation, seconded by Rich Morelli, all in favor. B. (Formerly A.) Application for retirement: 1. Leon Barnowski, LAN Manager, for a normal retirement effective December 29, 2022. 2. Earl J. Brown Jr., Senior Pipe Fitter – NPU, for a normal retirement effective November 19, 2022. 3. Jeanne Kurasz, Programs Coordinator, NPU, for a normal retirement effective December 17, 2022. 4. Joyce E. Mandeville, Paraeducator – BOE, for a normal retirement effective August 1, 2022. 5. William Maxeiner, Lineman A, for a deferred retirement effective August 27, 2022, payable January 12, 2045. 6. Williams, Senior Water Treatment Operator, for a normal retirement effective November 3, 2022. 10. Dianna Wawrzynowicz, School Nurse – BOE, for a normal retirement effective November 12, 2022. 11. Motion to approve retirement applications made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Rich Morelli, all in favor. C. (Formerly B.) Pension Calculations: 1. Mark Espinoza, Firefighter, retired July 6, 2022. His annual pension calculation is $67,704.02. His application was approved at the June 21, 2022 meeting. 2. Allyn Fitch Jr., Fire Captain, retired July 13, 2022. His pension calculation is $72,600.40. His application was approved at the June 21, 2022 meeting 3. Notification of new pension benefit due to a Domestic Relations Order payable to Michele L. Ciccarelli effective August 1, 2022. Her annual amount = $9,114.72. Mr. Fitch’s pension will be reduced to $63,593.56. 4. Robert L. Jackson Jr., 911 Dispatcher, retired July 31, 2022. His annual pension calculation is $27,237.13. His application was approved at the July 19, 2022 meeting. 5. Joyce Mandeville, Paraeducator – BOE, retired August 1, 2022. Her annual pension calculation is $16,177.38. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting. 6. William Maxeiner, Lineman A, retired August 27, 2022. His annual pension is $33,556.17. His application is on the agenda at this meeting. 7. Kaitlyn O’Leary, Director of Strategic Initiatives – BOE, retired April, 1, 2020. Her annual pension calculation is $12,091.29. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting. 8. Paul Sas, Custodian – BOE, retired August 20, 2022. His annual pension is $45,345.97. His application was approved on the July 19, 2022 meeting. 9. Margaret Shieber, Nurse – BOE, retired May 7, 2022. Her annual pension calculation is $9,045.40. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting. 10. John Turo, Custodian – BOE, retired May 14, 2022. His annual pension calculation is $10,941.53. His application is on the agenda at this meeting. Motion to approve the pension calculation made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Rich Morelli, all in favor. D. (Formerly C.) Application for refund/rollover of pension contributions: 1. Arelis Aliceas, Paraeducator - BOE, who opted out of pension plan effective July 17, 2022. Refund of $13,727.35 including interest. 2. Robert Dantzler, Program Coordinator – BOE, who opted out of pension plan effective July 29, 2022. Refund of $12,280.70 including interest. 3. Kaila Gromko, Paraeducator – BOE, who terminated effective June 03, 2022. Refund of $8,328.33 including interest. 4. Marc Massicotte, Police Officer, who terminated effective July 14, 2022. Refund of $53,182.46 including interest. Glinski, DOD July 18, 2022, who retired from the Tax Assessor Dept. on May 30, 2009. No obituary. No further benefit due. 3. Marlene H. Kraushaar, DOD August 29, 2022, who retired from NPU on April 13, 1993. No further benefit due. 4. Phyllis M. LaFond, DOD July 30, 2022, who retired from NPU on July 1, 1992. No further benefit due. 5. Kathleen J. Mrowka, DOD September 4, 2022, who retired from NPU July 14, 2009. Survivor benefit payable to her spouse, Peter P. Mrowka in the amount of $6,607.95. 6. Request from Christopher LaRose, NPU General Manager, to extend the Sewer Collection System Maintenance Tech. eligibility list for six (6) months. The current list expires November 4, 2022 2. Request from Chief Montoya, Fire Department, to extend the Firefighter eligibility list for six (6) months. The current list expires October 25, 2022. 3. Request from Chief Montoya, Fire Department, to extend the Fire Lieutenant list for six (6) months. The current list expires September 26, 2022. 4. K. Shiela Hayes – Vice Chair resignation Letter. Paul Schroder read Ms. Hayes letter to the board members. He asked Brigid Marks to send a thank letter on the boards behalf. Motion made by Paul Schroder to acknowledge Ms. Hayes resignation and the request for a thank you letter, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor. L. DRO Calculation/draft review fee schedule. Brigid Marks recommended adding language to the DRO fee schedule that would relieve the City of any monetary responsibility for DRO fees should the attorney and/or actuary fees exceed the current fee schedule. The Participant and/or Alternate Payee would be responsible. Motion made by Bob Pounch to approve fees schedule, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor. IV. Correspondence None V.
