UBS Investment Review Motion by Paul Schroder to move UBS Investment review to January 16, 2024 board meeting, seconded by Rich Morelli, all in favor. B. Actuarial Valuation Results & Study Rebecca Sielman from Milliman provided an overview of the July 1, 2023 City of Norwich Retirement Valuation. She recommend there be no change to the 6.25% assumed rate of return. Details can be found in the City of Norwich Retirement Actuarial Valuation dated July 1, 2023. Please follow the following link Retirement Actuarial Valuation 2023 07-01 C. Application for retirement: 1. Anthony J. Gomes, Police Lt., for a normal retirement effective November 11, 2023. 2. Christopher Joly, Paraeducator – BOE, for a deferred retirement effective August 26, 2023, payable May 06, 2040. 3. Dawn Tate, Paraeducator – BOE, for a deferred retirement effective August 26, 2023, payable October 03, 2026. Motion to approve retirement applications made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Bob Pounch, all in favor. D. Pension Calculations: 1. Christopher Joly, Paraeducator – BOE, retired August 26, 2023. His annual pension calculation is $6,799.03. His application is on the agenda at this meeting. 2. Patricia Osten, Assistant HR Director, retired September 15, 2023. Her annual pension calculation is $27,714.07. Her application was approved at the May 16, 2023 meeting. 3. Dawn Tate, Paraeducator – BOE, retired August 26, 2023. Her annual pension calculation is $12,978.87. Her application is on the agenda at this meeting. Theresa Selvidio, Board of Education, DOD October 03, 2023, who retired on June 23, 1993. No further benefit due.
