Minutes of the May 21, 2024 Personnel & Pension Board Meeting. Motion to accept the May 21, 2024 minutes made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Chris Golas, all in favor. Paul Schroder made a motion to add an item to the agenda under suspension of rules, A to section III New Business, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor. III. New Business A. UBS Investment Recommendation UBS made the following recommendation to the P&P Board: 1. Not to invest this month and to leave POB proceeds in the money market account. Motion to approve UBS recommendation to leave POB proceeds in the money market account made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Chris Golas, all in favor. Paul Schroder made a motion to add an item to the agenda under suspension of rules, B to section III New Business, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor. B. Applications for retirement: 1. Scott Belleville, Fire Captain, for a normal retirement effective June 19, 2024. 2. Thomas D. Armstrong, Firefighter, for a normal retirement effective June 30, 2024. Motion to approve retirement applications made by Mike Dziavit, seconded by Chris Golas, all in favor. C. (Formerly A.) Applications for refund/rollover of pension contributions: 1. Cindy Breton, Administrative Assistant – BOE, who terminated effective April 04, 2024 Rollover of $30,989.02 including interest. 2. Sarah McCoy, Registered Behavior Tech. -BOE, who terminated effective March 15, 2024. Refund of $30,416.84 including interest. 3. Ashley McKinney, Administrative Assistant – BOE, who terminated effective May 03, 2024. Refund in the amount of $7,887.88 including interest.
