Minutes of the June 17, 2025 Personnel & Pension Board Meeting. Motion to accept the June 17, 2025 minutes was made by Chris Golas, seconded by Bob Pounch, all in favor. Paul Schroder made a motion to remove/add to the agenda under suspension of rules, item A. under New Business, remove Application for Retirement and add UBS Investment Review, seconded by Chris Golas, all in favor. III. New Business A. UBS Investment Review: Marc Shegoski and Ashley Martella from UBS Financial Services, Inc. provided a brief overview of the current stock market. They talked about the performance, interest rates and inflation and struggles with the current stock market. UBS had no recommendations for the P&P Board members. Board members requested for the Finance/Treasury department to provide them with the employee pension contribution total for the FY2025 (07/01/2024- 06/30/2025). B. Pension Calculations: 1. Anne Burns, School Nurse- BOE, retired August 26, 2021, payable July 28, 2025. Her pension calculation is $ 6,705.82. Her application was approved at the September 21, 2021 meeting. 2. Patricia A. Lewon, Paraeducator – BOE, retired June 14, 2025. Her pension calculation is $12,565.75. Her application was approved at the April 15, 2025 meeting. 3. John E. Perry, Police Captain, retired June 02, 2025. His pension calculation is $79,020.58. His application was approved at the June 17, 2025 meeting. Motion to approve pension calculations made by Chris Golas, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor. C. Applications for refund/rollover of pension contributions: 1. Tania Broggins, Teen Outreach/Text Learning -BOE, who terminated June 25, 2025. Refund in the amount of $6,291.38 including interest. Notification of Death: 1. Csilla L. Quarto, DOD May 04, 2025, BOE, who retired on July 14, 1989. No further benefit due. Motion to acknowledge notification of death made by Chris Golas, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor. E. New Employees: Motion to acknowledge new employees made by Chris Golas, seconded by Mike Dziavit, all in favor.
