1 CITY OF NORWICH NORWICH PUBLIC PARKING COMMISSION The following are the minutes of the Special Meeting of the Public Parking Commission held at 5: 00 PM, March 10, 2020 at the Intermodal Transportation Center. PRESENT: Ms. Stacy Gould, Mr. Jeff Lord, Mr. Sean Ryan, Mr. Derell Wilson ABSENT: Mr. John Salomone & Mr. William Nash ALSO: Mr. Jason Vincent Mr. Lord called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm, noting a quorum was present. PUBLIC COMMENT: NONE MINUTES: A motion was made by Mr. Wilson, second by Ms. Gould, to accept the minutes of the January 14, 2020 regular meeting. Attending members voted unanimously to accept the minutes. FINANCIAL REPORTS & BILLS TO BE PAID: A motion was made by Mr. Ryan, second by Mr. Lord to accept the financial reports and accounts payable reports for December 2019 & January 2020. The motion was voted on and passed unanimously. MINUTES NPPC REGULAR MEETING 03/10/2020  2 ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Ms. Gould made a motion to nominate Mr. Lord as Commission Chairman. The motion was seconded by Mr. Wilson. The attending members voted unanimously to pass the motion. Congratulations Mr. Lord! ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE THE COMMISSION: Commission members were provided information related to a deficit in the expense account for Complus and postage. The options were a budget “amendment”, or a reallocation of funds in the existing budget. After a brief discussion, the members chose to amend the budget. A motion was made by Ms. Gould , second by Mr. Ryan, to increase the projected revenue of the “off street”income by $4000.00. The expense account of Complus would be increased by $3500.00 and the postage expense account would be increased by $500.00. The members voted unanimously to pass the motion to amend the current budget. ADJOURNMENT: Having no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Mr. Wilson, second by Mr. Ryan, to adjourn the meeting. Voted on and passed unanimously. Meeting was adjourned at 5:09 pm.
