The RRC meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM. II. Upon motion by Tucker Braddock, second by Stacy Gould, the Committee voted to approve the minutes of the 11/20/20 meeting. Motion passed unanimously. III. There were no updates to report. IV. Applicant request for additional funding: The Committee reviewed the home owner’s correspondence dated 2/4/21 requesting additional funding to complete the lead hazard controls and rehabilitation. Wayne Sharkey stated the home is inhabitable and in need of a heating system, electrical faults, asbestos removal and lead abatement including historic windows. Total project cost was $99,900.00. After maximum funding and the property owner contributing $15,000.00, they were still short $19,900.00. The home owner had applied to a financial institution for a loan but was denied. LEAD $ 24,000.00 HEALTHY HOMES $ 6,000.00 PROPERTY REHAB $ 35,000.00 OWNER SHARE $ 15,000.00 PROJECT COST $ (99,900.00) $ (19,900.00) After review and upon motion by Kathryn Crees, second by Jim Roberts, the Committee voted to approve the request for an additional $19,900.00 in LBPHC/Healthy Homes funds as the completion of the home’s rehab would be a benefit to a child < 6 yo and will keep the property viable.
