School Building Committee (2020) Special Meeting Held via ZOOM Wednesday August 30, 2023 6:30 PM Committee Members Present: Chairman Mark Bettencourt, President Pro Tem Joe DeLucia, Alderwoman Stacy Gould, Cindy Beauregard, Peter Gauthier, Greg Ballassi, Gregory Carabine, Christine DiStasio, William Hull and Shiela Hayes. Committee Members Absent: Mark Kulos. Ex-Officio Members Present: Mayor Peter Nystrom, Bob Castronova, Attorney Michael Driscoll, Mike Faenza and Jim Guiliano from CSG. Citizens Present: None. I.Call to Order and Quorum: Chairman Mark Bettencourt called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. II.Executive Session: Review changes to RFP for Construction Manager. Creation of scoring matrix and interview questions: Alderwoman Stacy Gould made a motion to enter into execution session at 6:32 PM to review changes to the RFP for a construction manager, as well as create a scoring matrix and discuss interview questions, which would include the city purchasing agent, ex-officio members and representatives from CSG. William Hull seconded. The chairman called the roll of members present and all were in favor. The motion passed unanimously. (9-0) President Pro Tem DeLucia arrived after the vote was taken, during executive session. Executive session ended at 7:43 PM. III.Approval of RFP for publication: Gregory Carabine made a motion to approve the RFP for a construction manager for the Stanton and Greeneville school projects, pending review by Corporation Counsel and the city Purchasing Agent. Alderwoman Stacy Gould seconded. The chairman called the roll of members present and all were in favor. The motion passed unanimously. (10-0) A decision was made to not consider any action on the scoring matrix or interview questions during this meeting. IV.Adjournment: Alderwoman Stacy Gould made a motion to adjourn at 7:45 PM.
